Back then as now They had Beverly Knight and they had her paired with white boys. She was recently in a play called Memphis It was about Bedwenching in Memphis around the time of the MLK assasination.

I'm not over there so I'll take your word for it, but It's not like the average brit likes Black people, Now having spent time there I know that Black people are such a tiny minority that they really couldn't do what they did to Black people in the states but damn they kinda go out of their way to encourage race mixing. Even in the migration policy unlike the US you can't import a wife like African Brehs in the US can over there you have to marry a local.
I guess they want to erase Black people over there because they shut the door especially to Jamaicans hard over 40 years ago.

Those bands were not promoting race mixing. They were friends / associates who got together to make music / get money. And there are tons of them.
More modern ..
But also way back before management took over. Bands like UB40 and Selector were street youth who just formed a band. "UB40" means "Unemployment Benefit 40" aka "Social Benefits for the Unemployed". Those guys were jobless musicians not part of some masterplan to market mixing and they started from the bottom.
I think one of the Sugarbabes said that when the band went to the USA they kept getting separated. They wanted her (the black girl) to talk "black issues" and with the black media. Now I am not saying that that is a problem but what I am saying is that the situation in the UK is a lot more organic than you suggest.
I get it but I don't get it. I know that Black and white people aren't separated over there and even in the few places were working class Black and white people are together here there's more race mixing but It's not normal. Even babies have a "preference" developed by seeing their parents.
Even the fact that less than 2 percent and really less than one percent considering Jamaicans have such a huge impact over there is crazy Again before I went there I thought Jamaicans were like 30% of the UK when I went there I was surprised. Even when I was over there did I get sweated by all kinds of women there?
