I watched 'Weiner' documentary, and it was fascinating to see a woman as powerful, intelligent, and gorgeous as Huma Abedin be reduced to a helpless victim, mothering a bad child, and not an equal adult in a marriage. I have a few friends who aren't clinical narcissists, though my Dad is, so I know it well, and their relationships with women usually play out in similar ways. Both parties are usually co dependent on each other to fulfill mutual unhealthy/healthy needs. I think externally these women may seem like they have healthy levels of self worth/self esteem, but I tend to think they are damaged in that department already, and outside things like (job, beauty, etc etc) just cover up a very insecure personality. I know a lot of women like this.
