so they have been able to meet and lock in deals now with Billy to coach, like a week after his somewhat surprise divorce with OKC … with Rich Paul and Zo and sell them on Zo coming here a while back presumably and then fly out and lock in Demar off one meeting
that’s an ability GarPax never had. you think Rich Paul was gonna be trying to setup Zo with Garpax / Boylen in Chicago? or a respectable vet like Demar even considering us?

In the half court offense dude gonna eat + you got Zach ,lonzo,vuc & pat who can play off ball/hit 3’s . If they stay healthy bulls goin to the playoffs(2-6 seed)

For the last 8-9 years Demar has been either the de facto #1 option or 1b on every single one of his teams. Right now on the Bulls he’s #3
He’s such a skilled shot creator & playmaker, and I’m excited to see what he’s gonna do with the defensive focus sagging off him for Lavine & Vuc. I thought he was always underrated in SA just because he’s really evolved his game & it’s gone largely unnoticed. Some idiots even think he’s washed even though he’s the same age as Butler. 22-4-7 on 60% TS is SGA, Morant & Fox numbers, and now he’s gonna get the opponents second best perimeter defender nightly
I think he’s gonna turn a lot of heads & most importantly he’s gonna have a chip on his shoulder. The trio of Ball, Lavine & Demar in the backcourt is gonna be absolutely lethal.

After Thibs left, neither Hoiberg or Boylen got the mix of guys they had to work. Hoiberg got a raw deal IMO. One thing that is refreshing is having a FO that is creative and keeping their ear to what's going on around the league. It's fair to say that in terms of making moves, the last regime only made mid-season trades to dump salary. shyt was boring as fukk

I think it can be argued that Boozer was a better player at that stage of his career than any of these players picked up this offseason... Pau Gasol also made an all-star team with us after signing
Demar getting 30 thrown at him doesn't seem like it was a really difficult sale lol .... but thats good tho just that players/power agents (at least some) seem to have a good connection with people in our front office ..that certainly didn't seem to be the case at the end of the GARPAX regime
