The GM said he would build intelligently but he brought vuc who is 30+ an about to bring in Demar who is 30+, both on large contracts. And the team is still not close to being a contender. What is he doing?

they’re vets with experience & I’m not even a derezon fan at all
Zach & lonzo & Coby haven’t done shyt as far as winning games in the nba.you need vets to get better especially when your core young
And Vuc only has 2 years left on his deal. It's not like he's fukking up our cap for 5 years.
We have a all star big, Olympian 2 guard, a 2nd year player with 2-way potential that was the youngest player in the league last year, young guys with upside in Coby and Ball and most importantly, it seems like we're rebuilding our reputation around the league with management and players.
I'd say they're doing a good job.
Believe what you gotta believe brother ... but from my years of watching the NBA good teams usually figure that when you have non shooters on the floor you send their man to double other players ...thats not good for Vuc ... Pat is not a high volume shooter either so when Vuc is on the block thats just not the ideal lineup to put around a big .... Derozan excels with the ball in his hand either to pull up on more recently to distribute but is that what we really want him doing here considering we already have Zach?

Derezon improved his playmaking since toronto(wasn’t a fan of him in Toronto)& he doesn’t turn it over a lot
Zach is a to machine , I can see what they’re trying to do.let Zach get buckets with lonzo(transition)& derozan(halfcourt/pick n rolls) the playmakers

What I like about lonzo is just like lavine he a gym rat that works to improve his game. We have seen his progression and he will continue to grow.
It's also not like we counting on him to come in and carry the franchise. This still all about lavine and Vucevic. Lonzo pwill coby and possibly derozan as depth is great plus we still would have a mle and bae to add a couple more pieces.
