FBADOS isnt perfect but it's does describe us in a way no other term has.

I hate that it has become weaponized and divisive, but that's not the fault of the terminology.

Never liked African American. Black is enough for me.

But as we all know, our name to people outside our group has been the same for CENTURIES.

I find it funny that we keep renaming ourselves every few decades. Cause when you walk out of the room..

I've always had a slight issue with that term because you're family dates back further to the founding of America compared to these 2nd/3rd gen europeans that are "American" but not are not called european americans. I don't see why white americans get away with just "American" when they aren't from there either.
