We aren't African and that is ok. Only people fighting against this are low self esteem Black Americans and children of immigrants. Those people can eat a dikk. None of them will go to Africa and tell those tribes and countries they are one people because they would likely be beheaded. I believe Black Americans should do the same and outsides would actually think before they speak on us. I'm not sure where this people got the idea that they have authority over Black Americans but any other group would have chopped them up into pieces.

That's just me though.
Thats literally the entire make up. 100% without exception

It's ok to stop playing dumb.
I asked a simple question, but I mind answering for others:

A bunch of times in my life I've run into Black people who get offended when someone calls them "African American". Some of them were outright c00ns, some where just suburban negroes who loved America, and some were ignorant hood boogers who never left their city. I've even encountered some who were a mix of the previous 3 while a few were oddly enough pro-Black militants.

From my conversations with these kinds of people, when they here "African American", they hype focus on the "African" bit as if it takes away the "American". I always wondered why. Chinese Asian Americans don't flinch at the "Asian" bit. Peruvians don't flinch at "Latino American". Nor do German white americans. The difference between us and these other groups is that they don't live in a nation that was designed to subjugate and oppress them from the ground up. America didn't spend centuries teaching whites, Latinos, and asians to think less of themselves.

So I think Black Americans who get triggered by the "African" is a trained response, cultivated from the self-hatred America has instilled in all of us.
African =/= Black American because we are more than "African". We are special. Associating them with us is a threat to our culture.....unironically the same why cacs associating with us "takes" away from their culture.

Hows that sound?

Black Self-Sufficiency
I’ll say this: at the very bottom of my list of people whose opinions I care about on this issue are those on this very site who make the most negative remarks about our ethnicity, especially those quick to use the hard "-er" when upset.

I also believe it’s a waste of time to argue over this with people who have no power to stop us and come from a group that has done nothing for us. Trying to guilt-trip us into aligning with those who have never stood with us shouldn’t work. We know our history, and we’re not obligated to support people who haven’t supported us. Or worse, have never respected us.

If others can be proud of their ethnicity and make clear distinctions between themselves and those outside of it, then so can we. This wouldn’t even be an issue if those who came here actually viewed us as brothers and sisters. But they don’t, They remind us of that, especially when times are good.

Look man nobody is "triggered" by African. nikka we aren't African. It's really that simple.

I'm not sure why you brought up whites but our relationship with Africans and whites are nowhere near the same. Now if Africans were coming over here with a revolutionary spirit because the government destabilizes their countries, there wouldn't be an issue. They don't do that, they kiss white and compete/co-opt instead of trying to collaborate.

Some don't want the term and that is ok. What's not ok is trying to make us seem xenophobic for not liking the term. It's wild how people refuse to address what's going on, on the other side and what's really causing the issue. Until that nasty ass tribalism is addressed, I don't want to hear shyt you have to say.

All this shyt because of Mamdani :mjlol:

He was wrong and lowkey ended up proving FBA/ADOS right
I'm trying to understand why people are fighting against this. Do they not understand how fukkin disrespectful this shyt is? I want to know why they think we should be ok with this? nikkas think it's about hating Africans while ignoring how the term is being co-opted. That shyt is not funny and it's not a joke. While I don't agree with the term, we have too much history tied to it to let somebody that's not us claim it. Has this ever happened in the history of Earth? I wonder what would happen if I went to another country and claimed a random ethnic group in that country? Now what would happen if I did that while trying to speak for and talk shyt about that group? Black Americans are too nice. If this nonsense happened anywhere else, what would happen?

Being lumped in with Black Americans comes with a few benefits, but a ton of baggage. :mjpls:

It’s not like we hit the lotto. when police stop me, they are not looking at my hairline to decide how to treat me.

But all this is moot, the Zionist propaganda to smear Mamdani is working.

Cool flag broski. This ain't a conversation for you. I'm not going back and forth with people like you. Don't care if one of your parents is a Black American or not. You chose your side now back the fukk up. Slavery still going on in Africa yet you on here trying to speak on us. I don't understand it. Congo and Sudan are on fire yet you are here. You people are useless cowards that deserve the misery in your home countries. You useless cowards will get what you asking for. Learn to respect boundaries. When people start getting blew down remember, all you had to do was mind your fukkin business and fix your shythole.

:umad:

Look how mad you get when I tell you that being lumped in with Black Americans is not the lottery ticket you make it out to be.

So which one is it? Do you want to delineate or not?

But I get it, the whole ADOS/FBA movement is a result of hurt feelings that some Africans didn’t want to identify with Black Americans.

Anyways, I can guarantee you the white power structure in this country doesn’t make a distinction.
