I don't pay for anything WWE related at all so I am not their core audience because I think their product sucks all sorts of ass and has for years. I barely watch Raw more than a handful of times a year.
But catering to the type of fan who sheds tears over how a CM Punk or Bryan is booked is also not the way to go because those fans will never be happy because they live to be unhappy. They will love their indie obsession of the moment right up until they decide that wrestler is too mainstream and is being pushed down the fans throats. You cannot build a business model relying on fickle c*nts. That is madness.
