The term "Overpowered" is the most overused phrase in gaming today

Then ... almost like .. inevitably

Oh I get what you're saying. Usually it stems from some easy exploit that can be done by varying skilled players. It's a problem because if not given enough time to properly find out if it can be countered or dealt with accordingly, devs unnecessarily nerf weapons, characters and mechanics to suit complainants. It usually backfires as then another exploit is found.

I once killed a dude with a mp-40 from snipers distance in COD-WAW. I was but thats when i knew that gun was overpowered. I would pay money to see that guys face watching the killcam though.

but every COD has an all-purpose overpowered gun. You either play with it or complain when it kills you. Same with fighting games.

I haven't played the latest cod or cod 4, but the mp40 in w@w had to be the most used gun in cod history

It wasn't a knock on the game though, because I felt that was the most balanced cod gun wise... It's just that that mp40 in w@w was straight all purpose gun

Nobody realizes that sub machines were nurfed in MW becasue of the mp40 in W@W.
