its like every other word is an punch line that needs an audience laugh. And it don't even be funny most of the time. That's why I can only watch a major network sitcom for 4 to 5 minutes before turning.
the thing I hate about todays sitcom's.. that fake audience laughing every other verse

I hate sitcoms like Seinfeld, Friends, The Cosby Show, Fresh Prince, NewsRadio, and Martin because of that fake audience laughing every other verse.

those shows were actually funny and they at least knew when to que the laugh and most of those shows you just named where shot in front of a live studio audience.
The shows I've seen today are not funny, the jokes are too quirk and they try to pass dry sarcasm off as funny.

Its reserved for sitcoms but shows like Malcolm, scrubs, the office etc...CAC shows BTW. But that's neither here nor there. (Que laugh).
Or maybe the shows you're watching just aren't funny to you
