I went to an auction last year and found one of these things on my shirt when I left. It tried to bit me but I guess my skin is too thick or it picked the wrong spot. I felt it and it hurt but I grabbed it and squished it.

Thankfully it didn't bit me.

Yes they are very aggressive compared to other types of ticks. Most people don't feel tick bites. I lucked out
