I know a lot of you don't like 3d that's cool, but a lot of people myself included prefer 3d in the home, especially movies like avatar. so what you look like buying a new console you have your 3d bluray collection or your downloaded mkv collection and you're ps4 look at you like I can't play that file format

my ps3 (which i'm keepin) does it. And my TV has DLNA built in for me to stream it (streamed Avatar to it directly over the weekend).

Ive got passive 3d and I must say that in some games (Devil May Cry for example) its and my head doesnt hurt

This will likely be fixed with a patch. Hell, the PS3 didn't comeout with 3D capability, but a software patch enabled it. This just proves how UNREADY Sony was for this gen, given all this confusion regarding this systems capabilities. Its like their literally figuring it out as the go along.
