It ain't gonna happen in America. We're too complacent and occupied with meaningless BS even in the midsts of a global crisis.
This is why I respect Europeans in a way. The government paints a sidewalk wrong and next thing you know they're rioting in the streets, tipping over cars, and police officers getting hit with rocks.
Meanwhile here in America, you have the government essentially looting people blind and the president basically running a criminal enterprise out of the white house and it's just *crickets*. People tell you to 'calm down', "take your meds", they tell you it's no big deal and try to stifle any negative sentiment you may have towards your government and its operatives no matter how many crimes they commit or how many people they fukk over. You even see it in this subforum.
There have been protests seemingly every day in America since Orange man got elected. But it hasn't led to anything monumental.
I just lose faith in humanity more and more TBH. Americans like to make their lives unneccessarily difficult cause they don't know any other way to live. Rather than support Universal Healthcare/Medicare for all, they say "we have no money for that" as trillions is spent on the military while they try to justify paying thousands in hospital bills for a stubbed toe. Or they'll say work harder or get a better job that pays you more. What happens where there are no jobs available cause they economy crashes and businesses are forced to close and lay off their staffs?
We look stupid to the rest of the world right now and we're inviting the worst on some masochistic BS.
