Good question, my guess is it either wasn't selling like they hoped or it cost too much to make versus the profit it brought in. I know Mc Donalds was in a little bit of a rut because though it is very popular and many people eat their annually their numbers are declining. They even tried to switch up their means of production I noticed in their NY stores where they have one whole side for people waiting for their food and drinks and another side for just two cashiers who do the orders. It used to be different where people who ordered would just wait on the side of the line for the food. So with that said from what I see McDonalds is trying to increase profit and to increase productivity even more.
