I don't care what people thought of the album but Drake's Views was a masterclass of mixing and mastering expertise, like Dre/Quik level adeptness

now i'm not a drake fan at all and i've never heard 1 of his albums before but after seein' 1 of his other albums get mentioned in here for the mixin' and masterin', i'll check it out :ehh:
with that said, is his new album views' mixin' and masterin' really on the level of dre and quik's level of mixin' and masterin' :comeon: that's sayin' A LOT! :usure:

This

Anything Dre, Quik or Outkast is guaranteed. Any Soulquarian ish out of Electric Lady Studios

Twista - Adrenaline Rush is another gem that sounds terrific in the whip. Dogg Food...

Moment of Truth and Soul Survivor also get a nod because the mixing really did Primo and Pete's sound justice. Still sounds modern

Insane Clown Posse's "Great Milenko" was mastered by a guy named Brian "Big Bass" Gardiner, the best album masterer of all time. look at his resume at Discogs if you need proof of his amazing work going back 40+ years. he helped master ICP's magnum opus album:

Y'all forgot about The Massacre which has some tracks that are the definition of crisp

I seriously think that Curtis would have been a few levels greater if Dre mixed and mastered that record

Listen to Nothing Was The Same, I think in terms of production and engineering its one of the best modern albums. Like the beats, bridges, beat switches, sampling, mixing is all on point. Views is very crisp too but its not as good of an album quality wise. Take Care was very good too in terms of engineering. Kendrick Section.80 and Rocky's Live. Love. A$AP are other dope modern examples.

Oh, and Snoop's last album Bush sounds amazing.

you must not have read any of the posts in here that were referenced to drake when i said, i'm not a fan of his music but since i was lookin' to hear some good mixin' and masterin' i'd check it out. it'll be challengin' because i don't think he's a good rapper or singer but i think i can stomach listenin' to him far more than i ever could anythin' by clown posse:francis:

i never ran away, i responded to your post about their albums :rudy:

i'm good on not hearin' their music, really :scusthov:
