the tornado that hit Ashton Illinois

Man that's scary, glad we didn't get one here. Central Illinois is known for tornados, only experienced two in my lifetime

I drove from ATL to Houston last year in the middle of a tornado warning from central Alabama to Louisiana. Half of the trip was in the dark, and they kept sending these cryptic announcements over the radio there may be funnel clouds in this or that county. I'm not familiar with that neck fo the woods, so all I know is that them clouds looked real suspicious. Nothing happened that I saw, and up this point I've never seen an actual tornado with my own eyes.

Trust me you like the idea of experiencing a Tornado more than actually experiencing one, it literally feels like the world is collapsing around you when it lands. Luckily we had a shelter to wait it out in so we weren't in danger but it still felt like we were going to die.

It was when i was a kid and it was at a relatives house so i'm over it, luckily i live in Dallas where Tornadoes rarely form and if they do they're the weakest kind.
