He's saying that you're being too charitable in chalking it up to ignorance. From his point of view, mine too, it was done with malice, rooted in her false sense of superiority and want to put their accomplishments beneath hers.

Yeah most definitely it was intentional...I don't see how it couldn't have been. Venus and Serena are household names but I still don't see the reason why they were brought into the conversation (well I know why but it wasn't necessary imo)
