The Tracy Morgan Show on MTV2

Hey any of yall remember he had a show at one point? I forgot but i see its being ran in the place of Martin. Im watching & im remembering that i watched the show when it ran on NBC (info says it ran in 2004) for the short time it did. I forgot it was where i first saw Katt Williams before I saw him as Money Mike and Heavy D was on it too. For what it was worth, it was a wholesome black family comedy that was a channel that wasnt UPN. Maybe the sub-par writing had to do with the lack of appeal, but him coming from SNL you would think Lone Michales would have backed like he does for Adam Sandler's horrible movies. That said, do you think MTV2 would be running the the show had it not been for Tracy's near death accident?

I actually watched it when it ran on NBC back in '03, it was a pretty funny show. It only got one season though. Every time I think of this show I think back when I was 22, and I hit this 28 year old chick while watching this in my room at my Mom's crib

Sandler's shytty movies make or at least used to make a ton of money.

If Tracy's show got shytty ratings, Lorne isn't gonna be able to save it.

Yea I remember this show and it also was the start for the youngin who was doing the PSP commercials and Role Models. IMO it was a good show but got pulled too early...Black sitcoms don't ever get a chance on the "big" networks it's simply sink or swim in the first season.

Good point, would also add FOX to that list. Only thing I ever watched NBC for was NBA NFL and Law & Order

The show only had 6-8 episodes, so you will get familiar with everything real quick

First place I remember seeing Katt Williams and Bobbie J. Thompson(I think it was him) too.
