Read it again. Macbeth is one of the better plays on the breakdown of man and his pursuit of power. This and King Lear



I'm not watching because I know there's only going to be one black person.

Everyone in here dissing Macbeth/Shakespeare but then complain when American/ Ados actors get LAPPED when it comes to being picked for roles in Hollywood.

Denzel has a background with the theatre, and this isn’t even his first Shakespeare film.

We need more black actors reading and being trained in this shyt (Shakespeare, Chekov, August Wilson, ect.) it gives you a great basis and foundation to play all types of roles.
