Trap is a really generic term at this point too. Rich Forever is a trap album but it's not particularly similar to Slime Season 2 in any way except the production is very broadly considered trap.

I don't really consider any Tip albums as trap.

It's not even that trap music per se needs to die but I feel it needs to evolve sonically.

I don't mind some of it but it's like it peaked with Shawty Redd 10 years ago and cats have been recycling Lex Luger beats for 5 years. There's basically nothing to differentiate a trap track from 2009 to 2015. The music has to progress or do something different otherwise it's kinda zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
