That’s where y’all losing me. That’s still being mixed. The genes didn’t go away. If you have admixed people marrying and having kids with other admixed people, the kids will not be full black. That’s not logical. It doesn’t matter how many generations we’re talking about. That’s like Zoe Kravitz marring another lighter complected person with mixed ancestry and their kids doing similar than decades later
95% of ADOS outside of coastal/low country types (Gullah-Geeche types in Georgia, South Carolina, N Carolina and Florida) is multi-generationally mixed. some just have more Euro, while others have less. You're probably willing to agree that this chick is admixed based on phenotype even though she's almost 100% African
while denying this guy his mixed pass lol
some future Coli nikka seeing their lightskin blue eyed great grandchildren and saying they “have no white family members so they’re full black” completely ignoring that their recent relatives were mixed people marring other mixed people. Everyone needs to take a genetic test then they’d see what I mean.
dude, you don't need to be heavily admixed to get light eyes
.

Basically what I got from it...is genes are a crapshoot. The average AfAm is 20% nonblack but, most of us still keep our dark/medium brown skintone even though we got other stuff swirling around in us but for people that are more mixed, which I think Steph is, those other genes start to emerge more. In terms of my family, I'm Chadwick Boseman's complexion. My dad is Jay-Z's complexion. My grandfather was Smokey Robinson's complexion and supposedly his dad looked like Klay Thompson, which I now realize is where the Scottish cac came from. I'm not trying to be a gatekeeper on blackness. I still consider Steph "black" in a cultural sense but, I just want to keep it 100 and say he has much more mixed heritage. I feel like thats why alot of black women have jacked up self esteem now because they try to compare themselves to lighter black women with green eyes and baby hair that look more racially ambigious not understanding that those people are much more admixed. But like you said, its not a perfect science. From what I remember, Snoop Dogg and Charles Barkley got tested, and Charles Barkley was "blacker" than Snoop even though Snoop is darker so who knows
which is why I think they’re mixed.
