Your not speaking in facts. Lebron and Kobe heve essentially the same 3pt% for their careers. Stop using one game samples.

Secondly, over the last two years, Lebron has improved into just as good a mid range shooter. People said he couldn't shoot but forgot he was still developing.

LeBron started his rookie year....efficiency does not mean he is a better scorer either...Tyson chandler is more efficient, is he a better scorer too?

Kobe scores in many more ways, and is pretty much the best scorer of the decade?...81 point?..cmon bruh, LeBron aint doing that..

He attemps less than six field goals a game. It's why his efficiency added to his counting numbers till turns to less than a 20 PER.

Nobody here is using one efficiency metric to make a point. Put it in context. But I've already seen people use one 81 point game and one game with 12 threes to make a point that Kobe > Bron.

We'll....I don't think Russell is top ten. Wilt was a better player man. His teams were deeper and he won nearly all the titles, and he was a superb defender and rebounder, but Wilt's body of work is unmatched. Got to give it to Wilt.

Nikkaz just don't wannna give Kobe credit, that's what it comes down to. It was the same Jordan. It will be years after he retires before most of these nikkaz truly recognize his greatness in the league. This nikka has basically stayed relevant and been a top player in 3 NBA generations. 5 rings at that. Where was Shaq in Cleveland, Boston? And nikkaz keep talkin' about the Heat like they weren't gifted that championship. Don't hate, it's unbecoming.

I've responded to a few people here about this, and I had to make a thread.

In the last few days, I've run into people who say he is the second best player ever if he gets 7 titles, people laugh out loud when I say he isn't top five ever, people say that Kobe's peak is better than Wade's, and more.

Let's be real for one second. Just once, let look at his career objectively.

I'm break it down here why Bryant was never the best player in the game conclusively at any point in his career:

Stop making it seem like it's crazy to say Bryant isn't the best player of his generation. Bryant was NEVER the best player in the game conclusively at any point, and he is getting overrated because of his legacy and the titles he piled in because he landed on a great Laker team after scaring the Nets away from drafting him in 96.

Bryant is a 1st ballot HOF. Dude is one of the greats. Best since Jordan? No. Top five ever? No.

He's in the discussion to be amongst the 10 best ever. That's the fairest way to put his actual production up in the All-time comparison.

truth is, MJ didnt win anything until detroit got to old. and his boys grew up and became a 50 greatest(pip).

kobe doesnt have 5 rings like how fisher has 5 rings or horry has 5 rings. as a nice role guy. he was the #1 reason or the 1b reason why the lakers won those years.

he doesnt play lockdown defense on most nights. he plays decent defense playing the passing lanes and sneaky blocks. but he rarely plays real man to man defense. there were years where kobe has shown he could shut everyone down, until they changed the rules where you cant touch a guy at all on the perimeter.
there isnt a single player thats better then kobe from his era. period.

I don't think Wade rates higher than Kobe all time(and this is a heat fan talking) although i do think wade is better all around right now(when healthy). But Kobe is one of the greatest of all time and that article that tried to put KG ahead of him? but i understand how Shaq and Duncan could be. Kobe was never the best player in the league for a 8 year stretch like Jordan was but he was the best player in the league for about 3 years in a row and a close second for at least 7. That says something because most of the players that are considered as "GOATS" have that accomplishment.
