TL;DR
1) Nurture -- your environment -- determines your IQ more than nature (genetics). Your parents could be the smartest people on earth but if you surround yourself with drugs, guns, and a nikka named Twofold, you're probably going to be a dumbf*ck.
2) A lot of famous research, famous books (e.g. The Bell Curve), and famous speakers on IQ were and are funded by The Pioneer Fund ... which is a white supremacy organization founded with the goal of "achieving race betterment through promoting the genes of white people". This is why the phrase "follow the money" has a lot of value.
3) IQ tests aren't the best measure of a person's intelligence. For example, if you ask an immigrant from Japan to spell something in English, he/she probably won't do as well as an immigrant from the UK. If you take the test results and claim "Asians aren't as smart as white people", then you're selling a structured lie. This wasn't talked about in the video, but intelligence comes in two flavors: fluid and crystallized. Fluid is your ability to figure out something without knowledge, whereas crystallized is your ability to solve something directly through knowledge. It's just a fancy way of saying book smart vs street smart. We all know a b*tch who can regurgitate a textbook, and we all know a b*tch who can't spell for sh*t but can handle her business correctly.
In summary, there are dumb motherf*ckers in every race. Never forget this. You will meet a person who can solve some incredible sh*t and you will meet a person who can't. There's value in both, and if you understand this, then you won't worry about a person's IQ as much as Nazi's and Nazi sympathizers did and do.

Never give iq tests validity. A old guy summed it up for me.
He came across a question he missed on the test later in life: What side do you drop the anchor of your boat if instructed to "drop it starboard side"?
He was sailing with a white friend and the friends son who was like 10. The friend instructed his son to drop the anchor, starboard side. The kid went and done it no problem.
Here's the key...
Growing up black, his father didn't have a boat. No one he knew did. So how would he know anything about starboard side?

Most IQ tests Ive taken are only predicitive pattern questions.
This eliminates the base cultural knowledge recall bias from the tests and bases it soley only your ability to recognize patterns and data and analyze it.

If there's one thing I wish I never obsessed over much in my life, it was IQ. It really doesn't mean shyt at the end of the day honestly.
Took me a long time to figure that out, can't imagine how much of a waste that was.
At the end of a day it's a metric somebody came up with that they deemed important and everybody else followed along like sheep and developed incredible biases because of it.

Once you have looked into the nature of your mind enough you realize where intellegence resides. The ability to let things be, the ability to relax the conceptualizing mind, the ability to respond to what is actually happening..these are true signs of intelligence in my view. Intellectualizing is mostly mental masturbation. Using dualistic view points to reference back to each other ad infinitum is not intellegence in most cases, but neurosis.
Our habitual patterns and gene expressions have a lot to do with the famlies/cultures we were born into.. I say this as a white guy with zero self-loathing, but honestly white people are the stupidest mother fukkers around. Trying to dominate the earth and bend it to our will..it's just suffering..and misery loves company. I'm grateful as long as the day is long to have been introduced to Indian/dharmic way of thought. It has recycled every molecule in my system and flipped what I thought I knew about anything.
Two of the smartest people I've met one was actually a white guy, hippy dude with dreds who runs a carwash..mind reader. The other is a black woman who for whatever reason took interest in me, she got the point of what some people spend decades/their entire lives trying to figure out in like two weeks. Goddess.
The heart is the seat of intelligence. In my view African, Asian and native cultures put a much larger emphasis on the heart; Europeans intellectualizing in the head. Some interesting research about the relative magnetic/electrical charges of the heart vs the brain. Every other developed sentient being seems to rely on this innate sense, but it's not good enough for the intellectualizing mind. Ha.

Racist cacs get stemmed when you tell them IQ is about upbringing and motivation instead of race. Like it's their birthright. When they get confronted by a black person with a high IQ , they'll say "oh you're just an outlier ", "you are half White " , "I didn't say ALL black people "
I'm not a smart man myself, but I'm pretty sure that's not how human biology works.
Not really because if some bushmen were to create a test based off recognised patterns, data and analyze it in a forest, most of you would fail miserably. Things as simple as yellow leaves provide medication and purple leaves kill you, the test shows you a yellow purple plant. Most bushmen would probably know what that means but you wouldn't.

Thats all cultural data based and not different than the starboard port referenece that OP had. It requires background knowledge to answer the question.
This is what I mean:
This test doesnt care how many doctorates you have or if youve never been to a classroom because its not about recalling learned data, its about processing all the data in the situation without needing outside information (such as nautical info or local ecosystem biology).
These are the best tests because both the bushman and the nobel laureate are now on the same level because they have the exact same amount of info required to answer the question.
