I've been sleeping on these. I got a co-worker who is a GoT fan like me and he recommended The Borgias. I was too lazy to download though. The Tudors I just dismissed because of Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. I got nothing against him but nikka be looking bland as fukk.

Can anyone vouch for these shows or should I just leave them alone?

I watched bout 2 seasons of the Tudors and I dug it...I'm a sucker for period pieces like that though...the chick that plays Anne Boleyn is essentially playing the same exact role as Margery Terrell on GoT to me, she's sexy as fukk to me...I'll prolly check the Borgias out if it's on Netflix too...Assassin's Creed got me interested in their storyline :pachaha:

Watching the second season of the Tudors now and its pretty good. Definitely one of the better period dramas with a serious cast.

Rhys-Meyers grows into the role of Henry a decent bit. He is awful for most of the first season though.
