You're incorrect though, we're definitely screwed.
It may not be the "end of humanity" but a lot of people are going to die and/or be displaced.

Are you making the case for inaction? I don't understand your intention of belittling an issue that could potentially result in the deaths of hundreds of millions of people (particularly black and brown people in underdeveloped countries).
On a side note climate change is the ultimate conclusion of white supremacy. You cannot be serious about combating white supremacy and not be concerned with the disparity in which those underdeveloped black and brown societies will suffer due to climate change.
What this video conveniently fails to mentions is that this disparity between rich (whiter countries) and poorer (black and brown countries) amounts to climate genocide.

I don't buy the white countries will be better off that nonwhite countries. If climate change is really what they are saying, it means it will destroy modern civilization. Ther won't be rich countries and poor countries anymore, at least in the modern sense. Climate change n that sense in western civilization cannibalizing itself. In other words, it will erase the gap between African countries and western countries. Everyone will be back at square one.

The sad thing is, most people don't deserve what's coming to them, only a select few, and they'll go unpunished. Major corporations were always the biggest culprits, but the general population has managed to collectively shoot itself in the foot too. I'm not just talking about our individual carbon foot prints either.A large part of us are apathetic to the wrong shyt, or we allow misinformation to spread (or we spread it ourselves because fukk researching shyt and vetting sources, I'll speak like I'm authority on something anyway
) which helps absolute morons like Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro get elected, who do nothing but make the problem 10x worse. Like it blows my mind that these idiots got elected, old white people fukked over America and I guess Brazilians voted in Jair because they hate gay people or some shyt, I mean I don't give a fukk why they voted him in, all I know is he's tearing down the rainforest and our trees are like humanity's bullet proof vest against the gun global warming has pressed against our chest; granted, that gun is like a 40 cal so the vest won't do much, but it's something at least Let me throw these old ass Baby Boomers ( not all though, some were disenfranchised and subjected to systematic discrimination, and therefore weren't in a position to know much about global warming, more pressing issues at hand and shyt.), and these old timers who still vote for the wrong people in here too ; They knew about these issues with global warming decades ago, but lining their pockets at the expense of the poor and minorities was more important than being proactive about our environment. Also, we really shouldn't give any white person over the age of 55 the right to vote, They're about to die and they probably say ****** on a daily basis, why should we care what they have to think?We should all still do what we can about global warming though, make it your biggest priority for you and your kids, or other kids out there. At this point, capping global warming at only a 2 degree increase may only mean limiting the damage done to millions of dead and a few wars here or there, but it's much better than BILLIONS dead at a 3 degrees increase, and avoiding 3 degrees warming is still achievable. Let people know about these reports, and who cares if they get scared, fukk their comfort. Tell them to plant a tree or two too.
