You basically asking for something that should've been given to people who didnt get it.

Freed slaves and people who could've overcome Jim Crow. Black wall street. Rosewood. And countless others who are dead or will be soon.

That's why I cant take anyone serious that actually takes reparations seriously.

$1 million dollars per person?

There are roughly 40 million black people in the U.S. (excluding Africans and Carribeans).

That's $40 trillion in reparations.

That's not gonna work. Even if you get the European and African nations that contributed to the slave trade to chip in.

What about $25,000. That's still $1 trillion.


So what about something more realistic like the bank bail out. That was $700 billion.

that equates to $17,500 per person.

So if everyone got $17,500 would that really make up for anything? Most will blow it within weeks. Some within days.


The time to give legit reparations was right after the civil war. And it was working with The Reconstruction, but we were sold out for electoral votes and resources were allocated to Western Expansion. I would've like for black people to be given land out west. Several states like Oregon or Washington State. Or casino's like Native Americans.


This topic isn't as simply as cutting a check. Too much time as past and the nation has evolved too much to throw around the word reparations will little to no details or substance to back it up.

• The "Me No Black Papi" Dominicans and other Afro Latinos, even if they claim their black heritage, their ancestors were not in U.S.
• Same as above for English and French speaking West Indians
• Africans gone say they are West Africans, and although their ancestors possibly were enslaved on U.S. soil, they are not descendants of those people.

So that questionhas to be solved even you get a program or amount ready to be voted on...

This is not a valid concern. You can fix that with:

1. Proof you had an ancestor here back in 1800’s (there’s census records).
   
2. You would also have to have listed yourself as Black American on a census in the past 10 years.

3. all mortgages and bank loans for Black people should be approved with no interest to them

4. education should be free and black people student loans should be voided

5. credit cards/car loans APR should only be 3% and no more than that
