Even if you got the monies right ...its the deciding who can recieve it as the biggest obstacle... "$5 Black Americans" ( look up term "$5 Indians") are going to appear out of the wood works. Everybody from:

• Phenotypical White Americans that discover from DNA program they have 3% West African DNA
• The "Me No Black Papi" Dominicans and other Afro Latinos, even if they claim their black heritage, their ancestors were not in U.S.
• Same as above for English and French speaking West Indians
• Africans gone say they are West Africans, and although their ancestors possibly were enslaved on U.S. soil, they are not descendants of those people.

So that questionhas to be solved even you get a program or amount ready to be voted on...

They're both Nigerian immigrants. My dad was murdered by the police when I was a baby so he never became a citizen. My mom has been an American citizen since the early 90s. I was raised in my adolescence/teen years by my ADOS stepfather.

Reperations should be education(free college,reform school systems k-12 in inner cities ),erase all student loan debt for the people who did get educated.economic empowerment like newer black wall streets & resources to maintain their communities ,grants towards home ownership.not a blank check nikkas will fukk that all up

nobody really believes this. If they did, they would have done it decades ago because it's like saying black people will just give the money right back to white society, and in the process that "sin" will be cleared off the racism docket for cacs. They don't really believe black people would just blow that kind of money. People scared that enough black people would get on code and start thriving.

Nobody said we don't need it, we said it's not gonna be utilized properly. There is a huge difference. Some people make $100,000 a year and live paycheck to paycheck and/or in massive debt. Some people make $30,000 and life comfortable and have a nice rainy day fund.

There are records. People like Skip Gates are able to find them all the time.

Also if you are a Black American and can't find census records for family members before 1860 that could be because they were enslaved.
Enslaved people did not appear on the census but would sometimes be listed in other records, including wills and accounting documents.

I've traced my lineage back to like the 1820s on my father side and the 1840s on my mom's side. It's not that hard. And really if you're black and you can trace your lineage back to the US in like 1950 you basically qualified. Due to immigration noT really being a thing for other blacks, the amount of black immigrants in the US around that time was less than 1%. Negligible. Like 99% of the black people in the US at that time was ADOS/FBA.
