hey, if bernie would beat trump in the general, then he should be able to crush biden in a primary that's solely the democrat base voting

i mean if bernie was going to beat trump in the general, he would be the clear frontrunner in every poll. the fact that he isnt tells me that he wouldnt win the general election
A lot of polls are polling old people & people with landlines still. After 2016 you’re still gonna put all your faith in polling? Bernie has outraised every other democratic candidate in the field and has more individual donors than any other democratic candidate and he doesn’t take PAC money or money from billionaires. Biden is the establishment and is riding the coattails of Obama’s popularity

Honestly we need to be done with all this states rights bullshyt and make laws and regulations uniform across all 50 states but obviously that’s a long long ways off

I think there is a good bit that could be nationalized, but states rights does give people who are held back by regressive national and regressive state policies the ability to go somewhere else.

Obviously a double edged sword heavily reliant on migration patterns.

That said, I really want candidates to focus on liberalizing the courts and creating policies that are in response to a lot of these SCOTUS decisions.

For example, I'd like the federal government to redefine what an employee is.

Taxes pay for our civilization. :yeshrug: Better it be spent on healthcare, education, infrastructure (all services that will not only improve the lives of the average American but also create plenty of decent paying jobs for Americans in the process) than on pointless wars. The better off the average American is, the more comfortable they will feel about taking business risks/consuming more which in turn benefits the economy. Not to mention the rich tends to hoard money, money that otherwise would be pumping into the economy. The nation can't thrive without a dose of socialism.
the fact is that there is not one other country or example we can point to that runs a good medicare for all with 330 million people :yeshrug:

im just trying to brace you guys for how america is gonna approach a bernie vs trump election with a record high stock market and 3.5 unemployment. if this shyt all tanks between now and november, i wont be saying any of this shyt

judging our economy solely by the unemployment rate and stock market is dumb

ok, fine. and listening to pie in the sky promises that rely on raising taxes for the government to provide services, is a questionable alternative.

why is it that all these blue states who have overpromised pensions to their employees are absolutely fukked? illinois, NY, NJ, california, CT?

when bernie eliminates the healthcare industry, is he going to replace the millions of employees with fully pensioned federal employees who can't be fired? are we taking that into account with the cost of medicare for all? :mjlol:
