Above the fray.
Umm okay...there are very unfortunately poor areas of Africa. You're right I'm sure children in Somalia are all eating fantastically. Enjoy your daps tho breh
Make jokes about poverty in the midst of global pandemic and economic downturn. I'm sure that your trust funds make you impervious to ever having financial problems.

what's bad about this? now if you want to argue the quantity should be greater or maybe include some more veggies, ok. but that bean bread and cheese shyt is what they eat. and the quality is probably fine, the US is the only place that focuses on growing produce to look a certain way as opposed to taste a certain way, europe has way better tasting produce (and dairy) despite it being uglier

It's just trash in general :yeshrug: This is supposed to be a balanced and nutritional meal kit to last 5 days and worth £30. UK has wild levels of child poverty - when I worked in public education we had kids who only had breakfast if they got to school early for free toast being giving out - and it's only getting worse with this Pandemic, so this shyt is jokes. You got private companies skimming profits by handing out this while the government is talking about not being able to trust poor parents to use a food-voucher equivalent themselves.. Just mad :mjlol:

yea, swapping food vouchers for this was shady, but that's right wing government. otherwise, that is "balanced" - proteins/fats/carbs, grains/veggies/fruit/dairy. aint how i'd eat, but it fits the food pyramid :manny:

The problem is you look at everything in the bags and its not a meal. Its like they just threw staples in a bag and then expected the parents to be grateful. No, if you are going to send food home for kids to have meals then whats in the bag needs to make a meal.

That’s not bad at all

:dwillhuh:

The scandalous part is that i believe the first pic is supposed to be worth £30 worth of food. i can tell you now, i could walk into a store and buy that lot for < £3, that's just n=1 purchasing power. . the whole point is that these companies can bulk buy thus there should be more they can offer for £30, or better quality products. They're also supposed to have included at least 2 tins of meat. :scust:.
These contracts went out to companies owned by the Govt party donors, solid grift :wow:
