I do. I know that man lived along side them as ancient pottery and drawings from across the world depicted mankind's interaction with them. I believe they were hunted to extinction but some of them still remain in the form of Alligators/Crocs, Kimodo Dragons, etc. I do not believe they behaved the way the white man has theorized as depicted in works such as Jurassic Park.

I'm assuming you're a Christian. If so, good! I am too!

You should know that the Bible does not necessarily support Young Earth Creationism, and doesn't specifically rule out evolution as a process God could have used.

The earth is at least a few hundred million years old, and I believe scientists that the Earth is ~4.5 billion years old. (The universe is theorized to be 14 billion years old, not the Earth.)

None of this interferes with Christian practice. Have a great day!

That's literally the point of science. The ability the accept new information and adjust accordingly.

I notice how humble people get once these Europeans say they may be wrong. But love calling everybody stupid for questioning them prior to that. This will be the response the day they say "the earth could actually be flat" or "evolution didnt actually happen the way we thought". All these dudes will just come in a thread and say "Well, thats what science is all about:francis:."

Maybe the universe is eternal? Or maybe it dies and becomes reborn in a never ending cycle?
This is good news. Science was due for a paradigm shift anyway.

So now the loop theory has everybodys attention:respect:

Only the black man can reveal the secrets of the universe, stop listening to these europeans man. What did I tell you, mathmatics is a man made creation. They are making this shyt up and fudging the numbers as they go ,to make it fit in a way they dont have to look too stupid.

I don’t know and don’t really care about the actual age

I’m more concerned on how they know when the sun will transform into a super nova or whatever :lupe:

They say we got another billion years but what if it transforms next week :lupe:

There’s no real time table

We got like 6 billion years and we’d know well in advance because the sun would be fusing heavy elements. I’d be way more worried about extinction sized asteroids

"14 billion years"

I've never believed this.

I believe the Earth is only between 4000-6000 years old. The fact that Western science can even come up with/theorize a figure like 14 billion is completely absurd.
Even Romans knew the earth was way older than that from erosion rates on old stone walls.

I, Mike, do not believe in aliens for this reason.

I, Mike, think we're either the first or last advanced form of life.

This "Life" thing is special and doesn't happen often and we should cherish it.
