i think it's really gonna be hard for nikkas to beat someone like magic in a timed format like that since he doesn't really waste any bars and his setups are relatively short and to the point
imagine chilla trying to get his schemes off in 2 minutes

I think it affected JC/JJDD and Clips/Ill the most but mainly hurt Clips. Crowd was chanting for Smack to let Clips finish his third but it was the rules. They were pretty strict on the two minute time limit.
I agree. They did a pretty good job of cutting people off and keeping it two minutes. I think 3 minutes is perfect. Enough time for set ups, personals, and all your punchlines. Plus it forces battlers to be more creative cause they know they don't have time to spit filler.
This is why I wanna see timed rounds. It's really gon separate the men from the boys.

That's another thing, this is the first Smack event I been to that actually ended on time. Actually before time. Battles were over before 6 PM. Can't complain about that.
Time limits, and also, peoples entourages weren't allowed on stage. Just the battlers. The only reason the event was 5 hours instead of 2 was because they did Sneaker contest and shyt during intermissions but the speed of the battles and the organization of it was way better than any other Smack event I went to.
