The Marines have been LAWFULLY sent there to protect FEDERAL buildings. The suspect attempted to enter a FEDERAL building but went into a RESTRICTED AREA. So that's why he was detained. You're acting like he was pulled off the streets.
Dude is Angolan but looks like many brehs in LA and otherwise. LA itself has a considerable Afro-Latino population (Belize/Honduras/Panama) that have assimilated with American Blacks and are subject to this.

According to some on this site, unless you're FBA or white, you're not an American citizen even if you're second or third generation Black American, or in the case of this brother, served in this country's military and earned citizenship.
Look, you guys would have a point if he was turned over to ICE and deported. He was not, he was released. Not only that, he felt they treated him fairly, those are his words. So yea, he went in the wrong area in a building guarded by Marines and got detained until they figured out who he was, and if the was not a threat. He himself even said, "They were only doing their jobs". Just to repeat, that is what he said about the situation. Who are you to tell him otherwise?
