I'm thinking... maybe we should come up with aliases for Court to post under. All of his aliases have been...

:trash:

Cockmeat Sandwich
PS4
Big Suge Knight

:why:

CourtWolf?
CourtLion? (Lyin'?)
CourtUnchained?

Wow. Ps4 fans reveal their utter stupidity every day it seems. Why cant someone answer the simple question that Court is posing? I'll restate?

DO YOU THINK DEVELOPERS WILL ENABLE DRM IN ONE CONSOLE AND NOT THE OTHER?

Assuming nikkas are mentally fit enough to tackle the question honestly....

Hell
:patrice: seems like Chris Deezy gotta break it down for you dumbasses.

The whole 24 hour check in thing is fukkING DRM. PS4 does NOT have that.

It's up to the developers to add whatever the fukk they want on TOP of the Xbox One's 24 hour check in.

So yes, developers might not pick & choose but either way you're gonna have to deal with the extra hook to jump through on Xbox One.

You gonna answer the actual question any time soon bruhpowski?

i'll answer it... i always love being the one person who directly answers whatever craziness you have to offer up... just to see what extra shyt you throw on the rebuttal... but lets do it

the ps4 devs can ONLY block online play.. while the xb1 blocks every damn thing

so technically, they DO NOT work the same way.. and also technically, a dev CANNOT block a FULL game on the ps4

so while i can get gta5 and play it and return it for maybe $40 a month later... a gamer can buy it off me and play the whole game except online... he might have to buy a pass for $10.. still less than retail. and even more less if i sold it for 20 or 30

while on xb1, you have gta5... you can't sell it except to authorized dealers.. so there goes your plan to sell it on ebay or craigslist... then when the person buys the game... IF they allow it, he can then pay the extra money to play ANY part of the game

that's a major damn difference.. if say, ea sports, decided to block all games from resale.. you'd have NO option but to buy it new... while ps4 users would have the option to buy it at any place they want, for any price they want, and can DECIDE, if they ever want to pay to play online, or just play franchise mode or in house versus mode

so short answer: no... nobody has thought of this because it is a flawed question with an incorrect "fact".. that "fact" being that a dev could block a full game on both systems.. they can't

Was the question EVER "can a developer block a full game" or is that what you eventually settled on what you wanted to answer :russ:

All this "Technically" this is DRM shyt you guys been saying is cute. Then you brought up GT5 which is mostly an offline experience that is made for this current gen. GT6 will be much more online orientated. The different areas, missions/etc. All that shyt will be online bruh, think about it. It'll be something like "The Division" where other hoods you might get murked by real nikkaz controlling the SET. Does that sound cool? Cuz thats what will be blocked until you pay the exact same fee they "could" charge on Xbox One.

Your problem is your not factoring in that most games are going online based. And the ones that are not? Free to play gets them to try it, then they hit you with tax and not even offer the game in stores.
This wont be for 100% of next gen games, but it'll be the MaJoRiTy of them.
Thats why it will still affect everyone. The fact sony won't be upfront about it is alarming. It did get them preorders up, then they'll hit you with reality and you'll carry it like Other OS/etc :hula: (you guys didn't blink when sony SNUCK in the fact you have to pay for PSN)

I don't know anything about y'all or we. My ps3 is collecting dust homie. I don't favor a side this gen. Never have. I've always kept all systems up until the next one so far

The question was what do we think of BOTH companies being able to block the SAME game.

Technically comes HUGE in this. When one system will block whole games and the other only online. Then you proceed to tell me, well games will be more online based. Says who? So I play mostly sports. They taking away franchise mode? If I play mostly rpg's, they gonna make them all online next? If I have kids and they play games, suddenly they all going online?

I don't care if in 5 years, 90% of the games are all online. That still makes a difference cause

1. They'll still have an offline mode of every game. And

2. I'll still have a choice of other games I could play/buy/sell that don't REQUIRE me to pay the tax

There's a big difference between you WILL be taxed on every game out. And you MIGHT be taxed on every game out for the multiplayer option only.

And like I said before. Look at game chart for sales ever. Most are single player based and all have an offline mode. If all you play is online then hey, you're fukked and you're right. But the stats don't say that and that wasn't your original question

As for paying online. They snuck it in. What we gonna do. We have NO choice. Both next gen require money. NO CHOICE. Drm shyt, you have a choice. People want choices. Not demands. Even if they have no intention of making that choice
