It's more than the tracking website, if we're being real. I know of cases where deliverers have been caught throwing away mail, piss poor customer service, and general incompetence.
This is why I'm so heated. I was supposed to get a package of my mail forwarded to me. All of the mail is important stuff at this time of the year, checks, stuff for taxes, new medical cards etc. I check my tracking it's Saturday night it's supposed arrive 9pm, I chill at the crib and it's a no show. I come back from dinner check the website and it's undeliverable return to sender w/e. I go to the post office Monday they tell me to go to the other post office, I wait a bit one of the managers comes out to sort people out. There are at least 30 people in line at this point.... he says oh it must've went back to where it was sent from. Monday night I go out to dinner come home around 10pm, get an email 20 minutes later saying attempted delivery 10:15 receptacle blocked/ note left blah blah blah. I was home, there was no note left, there is a intercom system, there is a super who takes packages, they can put them in my mail box in the lobby, they've come to my front door in the building before. Today I went to the post office again and talked to woman at the desk she says it must be on the truck again. I explain the situation in detail ask for it not be put on the truck again, not to be sent back to where it came from, or left at the address on package. Either the address on it is wrong or someone is lying. I know how these guys are. They keep catching these guys with hordes of mail that were never delivered. One of the post offices was rated worst in the country or the city can't remember which. I've seen physical violence twice at one of the locations. Last year they never left notes so there was no way of finding a package and it was returned to sender. I've also had mail not reach the destination several times this year.
It's a bad joke.
