The government benefits for any group are maddening... that said, I always hear people bytch about the post office, but I've shipped hundreds of thousands of dollars in goods and they were usually the most affordable, fastest, and convenient.

As someone who uses USPS every week, I can say with confidence that they are some of the most surly employees there are anywhere. Especially older black women who work there, not all but some of them have the worst attitudes anywhere.
That's why all of my packages are pre-paid and I just dump them off in the window, don't have to wait in line or talk to any crabby cashiers.

That being said, their service is dying and going the way of the dodo bird anyway, things should probably change. Get those people jobs at the TSA or something

First of all fukk you. The post office, although its slowly being phased out, offers excellent benifits & the pension plan is top of the line. The state of welfare...nikka plz.
& by benifits I mean they have good medical, vision, dental, life, etc insurance plans.
i like the USPS. i use them all the time, but my only interaction with them is via my cool ass mail man (don't know when i last visited an actual post office). when i want to mail a package i use flat rate priority mail and schedule a pickup when i'm home (usually saturday) and he rings the doorbell and i give him the package and it arrives at its destination monday. a good ass deal.
