Have you considered JD advantage roles? You don't necessarily have to be practicing law to use your law degree.

Most compliance departments at mid sized corporations and hospitals would love to have you as long as you're further along than 3rd year associate.


The worst case scenario is adjuncting.

Honestly I see you providing real helpful solutions but...the solution here and every time someone posts here about a similar situation is to long off.
Im serious.

its REALLY important to treat looking for work like a sales job or business.

You should be cold emailing/calling small/medium sized businesses and local associations putting out feelers and seeing if anyone is in search of a new hire.

Ive only had one traditional job in my adult life (Ive always been self employed).

I wanted to try a new industry so I cold called and emailed small/medium sized businesses and associations in my area...
I eventually got ahold of someone that gave me the number of a small biz that was possibly looking for someone.

I called em up and went in the next week to meet with the owner and got hired.

Entrepreneurs and people higher up in the food chain appreciate self starters that go for theirs.
If you can effectively sell yourself and you seem like you have some sense someone will take a chance on you.

My husband is in medical device sales he said medical couriers can do well like $22-$24 per hour.

If you have a car I’d uber/lyft. Also UPS has a company called roadie where you can deliver overflow for them.
