I don't fukk with either of them. They are fighting for dominance over us and have destroyed many small businesses.

this is why humans will continue to take L's... so many people do things that are detrimental to themselves.

fukk em both. whoever it was that said Amazon needs to be broken up was 100% right.

This is class warfare not an industry clash. Both billion dollar corporations known for shyt pay and terrible work environments.

Also the political empowerment of the 1% and deregulation. We are going back to the Ma Bell days of monopolies when there should be more choices than ever.

When it's all said and done its going to be Walmart and Amazon left standing. The only thing standing in their way is hardware stores. Don't be shocked if you see one of them attempt to buy Lowe's or Home Depot out or Amazon make a move for Target.

Call me crazy but Hardware and Home goods are not Amazon's or Wal-Mart's specialty at all. Like they really suck at that

And the other sector, Clothing/Fashion, they suck even more

Groceries wasn't amazons specialty either 3 years ago and now they have been quite disruptive in that area. they specialty in the beginning was books but once you scale up the logistics, specialties are a dime a dozen

Grocery is easy, there isn't much detail. All Amazon has to do is warehouse it and distribute it

If you copy and paste Hardware, Home goods, and Clothing/Fashion, you will get laughed out of the building. You have to be very knowledgeable about the products, understand quality, and that takes more overhead to hire experts and advisors, and research groups

Walmart was smart enough to know they needed to aggressively hire Software talent to compete with Amazon

Lumber is hard to manage and hardware stores biggest customers are people who need the materials immediately. 2 day shipping doesn't work for them. Amazon would have to get a physical store to get in that game
