What caused the change?
Toronto is influenced heavily by Jamaicans and Island folks, so naturally, and annoyingly, a lot of non Jamaicans started speaking bruck up fake patois.
So now you take this fake Jamaican accent/patois, mix it with ignorant highschool drop out crash dummy literacy, and sprinkle in a little Somali vocab, and there yiu have it.
Mash up Toronto lingo only spoken by wastemans and idiot boys.
