It reminds me of these smug/condescending/smartass Hipster cacs with glasses from vice media who made a documentary about the Chicago/chiraq drill scene last decade. They were going inside the heart of the hood to interview young folks who were influenced by chief keef/fredo Santana. shyt felt voyeurish and racist imo. Hood tourism with a racist twist. They acted like it was a trip to the jungle to study and observe savage animals in their natural environment smh.i fukking hate these trap lore ross-esque hood tour videos. i hate this exploitative internet culture where they need to go to "seedy" areas to film.
whenever i see crap like this i hope the dudes in that hood fukked them up!
Not really.I feel like crime in Canada is JV and I can just walk on the team. Like even y'all most thorough gangsters I can talk into selling me all of your bricks for $10k a piece.
Based on body count. Yes Toronto rap scene was actually very brutal. These idiots killed a lot of each other in the last 10 years.“One if the most ruthless underground rap scenes…”
Stopped it right there
Man, Cali alone got real gangs, set, mafias and cartels that don’t give a fukk about no rappers.
Shut upToronto is influenced heavily by Jamaicans and Island folks, so naturally, and annoyingly, a lot of non Jamaicans started speaking bruck up fake patois.
So now you take this fake Jamaican accent/patois, mix it with ignorant highschool drop out crash dummy literacy, and sprinkle in a little Somali vocab, and there yiu have it.
Mash up Toronto lingo only spoken by wastemans and idiot boys.
To a degree yes...and I am far from a wastemanWhat's your problem?
You speak like they do?
It is hands down the worst accent. It sounds ridiculous. A lot of Jamaicans that travel over here can't stand it either, and a a lot of the Toronto lingo is a rip off of our patois. To a degree yes...and I am far from a wasteman
Yall wonder why Canada is America's little bytch when yall diss everything that is or waso once unique about the city. There is nothing wrong with Toronto slang/lingo...its actually funny and amusing as hell and a lot of it goes back to the 90s/early 00s anyways
It’s not a Jamaican accent why should they understand itIt is hands down the worst accent. It sounds ridiculous. A lot of Jamaicans that travel over here can't stand it either, and a a lot of the Toronto lingo is a rip off of our patois.
I grew up in Toronto. Which part of Toronto spoke like this in the 90s and 00s because I never heard it. You heard some Jamaican words, but not this nonsense you hear today.
