I copped the reissue vinyl (splatter) and its on here
You talking about the version w/ the lyrics (not just the instrumental)???

If so, the world needs you to record this, and upload it.

Edit: Maybe I misunderstood, I thought there was a version w/ Thug Paradise rapping over this beat which would've been dope to hear.

To this day people will say they had the "version" with Calm Down on it and it's like bruh...just say so got a bootleg lmao. You won't be arrested.
:russ:
I was so pissed when I bought the album and Calm Down wasn't on it. Like wtf, The Source said it was.

Funny how we had heard like 95% of the album before it dropped, and it still ended up being classic.

Nas or Columbia wouldn't clear it. Trag said it was Nas, other people said the label.

From '97, this Wu-Forever and Ghetto Millionaire (which is a somewhat continuation) never leave rotation

Go figure..that was my thug bop two stepping and what not

NORE recently said Nas admitted it too at the time. I wish I could remember what episode it was but Nas really hated Trag..

Oh yea.... Trag made fun of the OG Calm Down beat. Basically saying Nore didn't need to be rapping on that soft shyt.. Nas heard him and was fukk clearing it. Then when it was time for The Firm, they redid the song, but over the current beat it's on.

I still to this day have a hard time reconciling the Nore spitting on this album and the dude that was literally on everything else

Something about him was different. I knew he was next up, but I didn’t expect him to lose his hunger like that but he probably had people telling him if he wanted to blow he couldnt be that person anymore
