I think Alvin Gentry, who was an assistant coach for GS before our bum ass FO hired him, said it best about this team on Woj's podcast recently: "I'm not sure if the Warriors are the most talented or stacked team ever, but I do believe they have the best chemistry of any team I've ever seen or been involved with."
So Durant's obviously wrong but he ain't wrong at the same time in a way. On paper, the Cavs are arguably just as deep if not a slight bit deeper at least as far as offensive options go, and they're spearheaded as a whole by one of the 5 best players in NBA history, something even GS can't say they have right now. Warriors just play better basketball; more passing, real suffocating defense, less shytty shots, etc. I think they have and are gonna be so dominant because they somehow actually manage to play above their talent level; you put the 3 best shooters in NBA history on one team in basically any other system and they'll undo themselves fighting over/taking turns with the ball. It was a real problem for the big 3 in Miami for quite a while. That amazingly hasn't and won't be an issue for these guys, which is amazing/terrifying.
