The Warriors deserve an apology

It seems like every week the media is asking some player about what teams would beat the Warriors.

Whether it's the mid 90s Bulls, the 80s Lakers or whomever.

And while I personally would probably give the edge to the Bulls, I have to admit that at this point it's beyond disrespectful the way this current Warriors team is being treated.

I'm guilty of this sort of thing but it needs to stop.

I don't recall the media bashing the Bulls back in 96 saying they could never beat the 1972 Lakers.

Go 'head and get 73 wins, Warriors.



Just make sure y'all lose to the Spurs next month.

Exactly. nikkas didn't just immediately accept the Bulls as an all time great team. They were doing it without the great big man which was unheard of. There was actually a school of thought that a high volume scoring champion guard couldn't win. They had to show and prove over time and then people came around and now the generation after doesn't even remember the scrutiny and questions. If you do historic shyt you will be compared to teams from history. Either you are up for it or you are not. All of this "woe is the Warriors, nobody respects them" shyt was old a year ago.

Negativity sells like never before.

Also the media did fukk with the 1996 bulls. ESPN would ask past greats if their team could beat the Bulls. Wilt said that the Bulls team could not beat his 76ers. Wilt talked about how MJ was allowed to travel since he wasn't as athletic as before.

Bird said he Celtics would beat the Bulls. Kats like Rick Berry said that the team wasn't as good as teams in the 70s. Remember that Bulls run was before the internet got big.
