Delly was getting cooked just the same (if not worse) when he was in the game.

Funnily enough the Warriors' offense had more success when Cavs sent out lineups consisting of: Delly, Jefferson, Shumpert, Love, J.R, LeBron and Thompson. Y'all can't place the sole blame on Kyrie for this one when the Cavs had their best DRTG with him on the court (players that played 10+ minutes).

He's completely trash defensively. Love actually showed more heart. :scust:

Brehs were tryna shyt on Love for his PnR defense but he handled every switch on Curry well and stripped him 2x.

Meanwhile they hid Kyrie on 2905235235 different players throughout the game and every single one roasted him. :mjlol:
Love was a monster on the PR defense... Kyrie outchea in the Finals playing Saturday morning park defense :scust:

Well you'd be wrong. Apart from a few misreads (every Cavs player had their share few) he was doing his best out there. The breakdowns came mostly from them focusing too much on Curry and Klay. Explain him being the main reason why their defense fell apart and being their worst defender in G1, when the Cavs had their best DRTG when he was on the court out of any player that played 10+ minutes?

Lue should consider benching him if he doesn't grow some balls. They tried to hide him on every player imaginable & they all ate. :scust:

Garbage on offense? He was the only Cavs player that regularly tried generating offense for them. :heh:
And that's the problem.. He was 0-6 on possessions when he came down on offense and didn't pass to anyone, WITH LeBron in the game..

You don't get an A for effort for trying and failing in the Finals...

That's because nobody bothered to create for themselves and for others enough. He was forced to take it upon himself and he missed a few shots at the basket he usually makes (which were good shots). Especially when LeBron was controlling most of their possessions and he only took two shots attempts when Iggy was guarding him (on 22 plays). The point remains, he was the only Cavs player who regularly tried digging them out of the offensive slumps they were in.

Nobody else on the Cavs even attempted to break down the Warriors defense like Kyrie did.

They have to adjust for Livingston. I think a lot of people called that Draymond and Livingston would be a nightmare for this Cavs team and that's exactly what happened. Say what you want about Kyrie, but no one can guard a dude 4 inches taller. Kerr saw that they were focusing in on Curry and Klay from the jump and he adjusted, Cavs didn't. Lue needs to step up.

But this Warriors squad has so many players that can beat you, shyt isn't even fair. A good role player in today's NBA can knock down threes and play good defense, or for a big man can rebound and play defense. The role players on GSW can do damn near everything, from putting the ball on the floor, making smart passes, knocking down tough shots, etc. It'll be interesting to see what the Cavs do from now on.

EDIT: And ya'll need to stop gassing up fukking delavadova. Dude can get occasionally get on Curry's nerves, but that's fukking it. Dude is trash.

Love didn't switch well either.

At first thought I blamed Bron but look at how slow Love switches here. Cavs defense all-around was horrible.

Are was sure he was supposed to switch or was Lebron stepping up to try to cherry pick the outlet to Curry?

Nah, it looks like they didn't want Love to ever stick Curry so Bron steps up, and Love doesn't switch. Probably after seeing how Curry destroyed the OKC bigs off the dribble last series. I remember watching Bron fight through screens last night to stick Curry and pointing it out at the bar.
