Now that the article mentions it, I have noticed that.

It's all on the small screen now - Power has had some episodes that were damn near like watching pornhub.

Be careful what you ask for.
In todays LGBTQRSTUV times youre gonna end up with a buncha unnecessary male on male 3soms and shyt. :whoa:

This. I don't care what's popular in this day and age, this is something I'll never watch or ever get used to. :scust:

I noticed this. I remember seeing sex scenes in movies and my parents covering my eyes.

They don’t even show t*ts anymore in movies.

Also notice that most movies aren’t rated R anyway. They are pg13.

Yep.

Most of these studios are focused on churning out Tent Pole Franchises or sequels to Tent Pole Franchises and PG13 means more potential asses in seats.

Most of the sex and graphic shyt is on TV nowadays, hell the biggest television show of the past 10 years, Game Of Thrones, had not one but two INCESTUAL relationships with the couples bumping uglies.

Most actors don't want to do them and rarely do they ever drive the story forward in a meaningful way in most cases. Gratuitous sex can doom an up and coming actress, so a lot of them write it into their contracts.
This and showing sex usually gets you an r so most films don't want that as opposed to the violence which dies not. We are wired country.

Although the shyt was corny, Fifty Shades series was a throwback to them 80's/90's erotica flicks.

9 1/2 Weeks , Showgirls, Color of Night, Poison Ivy, them shyts you used to close the door and make sure ya parents aint hear or sneak to the living room at 3AM.

Honestly I fast forward through most sex scenes because either they're a bore or they don't add to the story. I think it started with Power and Jamie and Angela sex scenes, they literally had back to back sex scenes in season 3.

I really can't think of the last notable sex scene in a movie and I watch a lot of movies :jbhmm:

Edit: Polar comes to mind. Big tittie ting got her head blown off.

I don't go as far as fast forwarding through them, but I agree with this.

Sex scenes rarely if ever add to a story. And it tends to be the films/shows that do them a lot that do them for no reason.
