i understand why troy ave went looking for dude with intent to kill. rational thing to do? absolutely not and definitely reckless. but let's keep it 100, this was retaliation not self defense. whatever happened prior to the video traumatized him to the point he had no fukks to give about consequences or repercussions and he wanted whoever he was looking for dead. immediately.
there are some things i feel so strongly about i could see myself snapping and doing something similar. say i was at the park with family and a drunk driver smashed into the gathering killing some of my fam. sure we could call the police and let the driver walk away with a slap on the wrist. more than likely the emotions of the situation would throw all rational thinking out the window, and that driver would be pulled out the car and removed from existence.
i can also understand how a lot of people could be torn on what to do if faced with similar scenarios. it's kind of like in boyz n the hood when ricky got killed. tre wanted to retaliate and if he didn't have time to think about it he probably would have. but dough boy was like fukk that, that was my brother and somebody has to die.
at the end of the day i can see both sides of the coin. emotional reaction comes with consequences. cooler heads might prevail and leave someone emotionally/mentally damage. a lot of people act like they could think straight and rationally but do you know for sure what you would do if in those shoes?
