The way Snowfall was SNUBBED was due to RACISM. It was BETTER than Breaking Bad in EVERY REGARD.

You WANT them to be the same. I’m sorry you feel that way, and there’s nothing to be done since both series are over. Everyone else seems to have placed their faith with “Breaking Bad” and decided “Snowfall”. BB is already cemented in its glory. You’re preferred show lawst to a meth dramedy headlined by the dad from Malcolm in the middle.

They are the same CORE story.

Two SQUARES who join the drug trade, starting small to sell a specific drug (Meth/cocaine) and then eventually takeover while at the same time becoming ruthless and not the people they were in the first season. Along with becoming obsessed with money and destroying their familial life and ties in the process in pursuit off. The people closest to them turn on them and both characters lose everything in the end. What the hell are you talking about that they're not similar

Breaking Bad was a cartoon like Power. Gus Frings gets blown up but then walks out of a building and adjusts his damn tie


Again if Breaking Bad was this so called comedy then why are y'all saying the dramatic acting and performances was better than Snowfall's?

They are the same with the main character looking to make a drug deal in the first seasons of the their respective shows. One has the High School teacher boss up on an ESTABLISHED cartel member while also being invulnerable to an explosion as if he's laced with Vibranium. The other has the main character at the mercy of an established drug dealer while visibly fearing for his life.

Breaking Bad was very much a Dramedy/dark comedy the first 1.5 seasons; it's not until Gus is introduced that it strats taking itself more seriously. I mean just look at this:



The show was even shot more like a comedy at that point with way more handheld camera shots and shyt.

It still kept the absurdity in its spirit tho.

But regardless, even if it was a comedy it's entire run, you're acting like shows can't be multifaceted and that a comedy can't have great dramatic performances either . On the inverse side, Sopranos is a drama yet has some of the funniest characters in all of TV.

I don’t know what cac’s were into while “snowfall” was trying to do its thing, but the brehs and brehettes were watching “Power” because it was more interesting, as messy as it was.

I get it whoadie, I’ve stanned shows that failed, in the past too. It’s like watching a friend get jumped at school and you can’t do anything about it. They can’t even fight back, just getting mink-mop Mollywhopped in a corner, and covered in dirty Af-1 prints, when they finally fall down.

It burns for a while, but eventually we just let it go, accept that we like something that was trash and become spiritually stronger.

Do you mean the better writing which had two hitman travel all the way to Walter’s house from Mexico to kill him. They then get there, know he’s in the shower but instead of killing him sit down to wait for him to come out but then get a last minute phone call which prevents Walt from being killed

Once John Singleton passed away Snowfall dropped a couple of tiers especially in the writing department. Now the final season was a great return to form but even Breaking Bad's worst seasons did not hit the lows of seasons 4 and 5 of Snowfall.

As to the acting. Breaking Bad's secondary characters were fantastic. The various cartel members hitmen etc were all played by veteran character actors and the attention to detail especially after season two of BB was meticulous.

Yeah,you could tell as soon as the show had a few viral moments and gained some popularity it shifted. They gained some of that "Power" audience and started pandering to what would entertain them more


But even then i was still entertained. You could just tell it wasnt the same methodical show it had been. Final season it got back to business to me.

the first couple of seasons of Snowfall were great. It had potential to be GOAT. But that shyt fell off when John Singleton died. They started doin weird side missions with Teddy and Oso, unrealistic shyt like tigers on the loose in the hood. Despicable characters like Skully turning babyface and going from someone who skinned his enemies and strung em up for the hood to see to family friend you would invite to your wedding and not watch around your punchbowl for some odd reason. Characters like Mel and Lucia disappearing. It was a completely different show. It's not the black/white thing your trying to make it be. Breaking Bad was consistently good...then they dropped Better Call Saul which was consistently good (movie was mid though). Snowfall had a decent ending but nowhere close to the quality and attention to detail of BB after Singleton passed or before honestly
