Breh what’s the basis of this? The only people who keep saying this are gender studies, liberal arts and/or people who promote intersectionality and identity politics. By definition isn’t racism discrimination based on racial background. All races are capable of it. This doesn’t mean certain races don’t have systems to ensure favourable position in society. In all honesty I was the exact same until one day it all made sense. Used to wonder why all these twitter activists used to say this shyt.

Racism is far deeper than words or individual actions. Its the use of systems and groups to continuously oppress people. Example would be treatment of school to prison pipeline or Mass incarceration. It has more to do with large groups who hold resources and the people in those groups that enforce oppression and denying these rights to others as a result of their prejudice.

Hypothetically it is possible for Black people to be racist but not in the western world as there's not enough power or numbers. An example of this would be Mugabe taking land from white owners in Zimbabwe (I think it was justified and idc but its an example of how Black people can be racist)

Prejudice is something that all people can be and being prejudice is still a fukking shytty thing to be. Dont think I'm saying it as a cop out as its still a serious character flaw and many Black people do it.

There's a newstand at Newark Penn Station that I used to get magazines from YEARS ago. They used to sell old and back issues of all types of mags for cheap. I used to buy some, send them to my man in the military and he'd charge the other soldiers 10 bucks for these back issues. Was a decent hustle that he had.

One day I'm there at the newstand and this brown guy/worker is blocking the box of back issues. I ask him to step aside, not sure that he hears me....so I ask him again louder to step aside....he turns smiling and stands there...I think I said "Come on, habeeb, If I was white you would have moved out my fukkin way already"

So, the dictionary written by a white man, correct? I will and do use the term "racism" to describe this system we are in because it's the most familiar to me, a black man without any true language tied to my ancestry because I am a descendant of slaves whose culture was stripped from them along with their freedom. But that doesn't mean I automatically agree with how they - white people - define these concepts with which we use to comprehend this world in which we live. "Black" is another term in the dictionary that has negative connotations, but I am a black man. That's why I asked you whose definition of racism are you using?
