Seems thats probably why they left the song off and went in a different direction for the album.king of the fall got 0 traction as a song and only appealled to his niche fan base.

At the time I always thought it was odd how they just dropped 2 singles with videos and being pushed with no album in sight. Looks like they were feelers for the market.

King of the fall should've at least been a bonus track though I think.

It's like people completely ignored Kiss Land outside of day one fans. In fact dude was still doing shows in theatre venues after KL dropped now he's doing MSG.

Yeah I saw him 4 times now.

First time he was touring off the mixtapes,small club venue,hole in the wall.
2nd time he was touring off trilogy being released. It was at pacific colesueum,which is the old arena in Vancouver. Much bigger venue.
3rd time was kiss land tour,it was in a theatre venue,actually smaller than the 2nd one but ro be honest it was a much "bigger" show. His stage presence and singing was noticeably better and the stage show was extravagant compared to the other two. He also seemed the most proud and happy at that time. It was actually the first night of the tour album hadnt dropped yet. The crowd also set off the fire alarms and we had to clear out of the theatre at one point
4th time was an outdoor festival last month,20K+ crowd.

And 5th time will be this december hes playing Rogers Arena. His biggest solo show yet,here.

Cant wait to see him again. His concerts are always filled to the brim with smoking hot bytches.

I'm going to go see him at the Mohegan sun arena which is like 10k capacity. I'm so excited. I've never seen him before so I'm definitely super hype

I think he's done a great job of 'going pop/mainstream' and keeping that core Weeknd ness. Acquainted is a perfect example of this. The first two tracks aren't great and are probably my least listened to tracks but from then onwards its straight fire.
