The ugly thing in my mind is it's another example of how stupid a lot of people are today. An actor playing a bad guy, antagonist, disturbed character etc does not mean the actor is also bad/disturbed/etc. He's playing a role.

This isn't new at all. From the bully in Karate Kid to a bunch of villains on old soap operas ... social media is just making it easier to contact them. Everytime I see a viral tweet about how some actor made a role "too believable", I lose brain cells.
