It's their ad for their clothing for their company. These are the values they want to represent for their brand. They know what they are doing.
Even if they didn't use this kid, they would just use another black kid. If they really couldn't convince a single one of the the thousands of black kids in the country they made this in, they could just use a nonblack person in blackface or use a racially ambiguous person. If there's a will, there's a way.
If I pay someone to say do some fukkshyt on my behalf for the purpose of representing me, it would be my fault if there's backlash. How is it not the same here?
