it's a bunch of millennial cats that haven't heard the stuff from the 80s. it was trash to them before abel sharked it :manny:

If i sound like an old, flabby breh then :old:
Its basically a requirement to thinking this is anywhere near classic or a "masterpiece"

If not than its,"I've heard this before but better"

Sacrifice is fukkin flames.

The album has grown on me. Not a classic by far but i see its novelty.

what hsnt grown on me is this weird voice he does when singing on certain songs. I dont get what its trying to imitate but its annoying.

I'm not sure about the story behind Morgan Freemans involvement with 21 & Metro for Savage Mode II, but Weeknd and Jim Carrey have a friendship and it shows.

Imagine a concept/storytelling album.....Raekwon having Ray Liotta or Robert Deniro narrate an album, Ghostface having Robert Downey Jr, etc....

I'm enjoying this. A nice pop throwback sound. Not something I'll spin every day but I'll give it a whirl now and again until I hear it while shopping at Target.

If your a made man culturally, as in you grew up with mom and dad playing classics and oldies in the household

Then none of this impresses you. LOL at all the claims of classic or masterpiece. This album is ok

Doesn't really move the needle for me. Most of the singles sample better songs. Nothing here created from the ground up is impressive
In this era, as long as you are brave enough to be "different" you are seen as a hero.

They're so desperate for something new, they'll take anything as a classic.

The more I listen to this album, the more I get bored of it.

There's not 1 catch song on this album.

Was bumping it in the 'zilla last weeknd (and on a dry/sunny weeknd in the Emerald City at that) and felt like a fukkin' champ. Wow. lol

As someone who didn't like the HOB era and didn't get into his music until he started going mainstream... i can respect that.

This man has crafted a pop masterpiece (and those words are not synonomous in this day and age... it's almost oxymoronic).

I was telling peeps how the 'Rona spawned a new age renaissance period.
